Despite people's passion for diving, busy schedules often hinder regular dives. However, the longer one stays out of the water, the greater the risk of forgetting essential skills for safe diving. Therefore, it's advisable to undergo a Scuba Refresher before returning to the ocean depths.
If it's been a while since your last dive, you should complete a Scuba Refresher course with us.
We are recommending as follows:
- 4-30 dives: if you haven't dived within 6-12 months
- 30-100 dives: if you haven't dived within 12-24 months
- 100+ dives: if you haven't dived more then 24 months
The Scuba Refresher ensures you remember essential skills like buddy checks, mask clearing, regulator retrieval, and emergency procedures.
During the course, you'll review diving basics, body air spaces, equipment, and procedures with a divemaster. Then, you'll do at least one shallow dive in the afternoon to demonstrate your skills and enjoy a dive around the site. Although the course includes one Refresher dive, the boat heads out for two dives, so you can enjoy your second dive as a Fun Dive.
Its recommended to wait 18-24 hours after diving before flying on an airplane.
